Very nice painting by Willem Kroon, a landscape with a hunter's hut, oil on canvas.
The painting is signed and placed in a neat frame.

Willem Kroon was born on November 8, 1946 in Utrecht. Willem Kroon visited the Free Academy in The Hague for a short time (1965-1966), but could not feel happy as a painter at the time.
After many jobs he ended up as a technical employee on an American oil rig in the North Sea, where he was hit by a serious accident.
In the rehabilitation center in Heerenveen he got back into painting, first as occupational therapy and increasingly also as fulfillment of his day job.
After his recovery, he significantly improved the quality of his work through drawing and a lot of outdoor painting.
The well-known Makkum pottery and the Frisian clocks also had his interest for some time, but he felt this was too much of a decoration and could not express his own will to create.
The oil paint changed this and Willem Kroon has a strong future ahead of him as a painter.
