What you see in our photos is a beautiful piece of folk art, completely intact, namely the back of a Dutch chaise. This back is exceptionally beautifully carved. We see a man on a ladder, who is standing in an apple tree, and in the meantime he throws an apple into the open apron of the woman who is standing on the ground. Note the basket against the tree. On the left, a dog at his doghouse with a man who teaches him tricks. Also very beautifully carved left and right birds on a branch. The panel is beautiful in its original color and has been used as a kind of coat rack after that time. You can still see the old brackets, which we left in place anyway. All in all a beautiful piece of folk art.
