Quartets were very popular in the 1950s. In the 1950s the beautiful Tom Poes mini quartet game appeared. The game, counting 40 small cards (3.8 x 2.2 cm), was made as a promotional support for the former cigarette rolling paper manufacturer Rolfix. The tickets were issued to purchasers of a pack of cigarette rolling paper. The small cards depict 40 main characters from Marten Toonder's stories in characteristic poses.

The cards are in a case for stamps (case not included in this lot). The beautiful game on offer is still in excellent condition. 67481489 Read more
