Drulmann originally from Amsterdam, works and lives mainly in Rotterdam. As a typical Rotterdam painter, he is best known for his harbor views.

Drulmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. As an artist, he used the pseudonym Marius de Jongere; a reference to his father-in-law, the painter and sculptor Marius Janssen. It was only during the German occupation that he signed works under the name Drulman, as artists were not allowed to work under pseudonyms at that time.

It reached its most productive period in the 1950s and 1960s, when the Port of Rotterdam emerged. Drulman is famous for its harbor views. In addition to ports and ships, he also painted portraits and landscapes, often based on the polder landscape surrounding his studio in Hillegersberg.
The Kamper Museum has works by Drulma 53586175
