Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. This work with Fuji Instax Square Readymade technique on cardboard is registered in the Nordest archive num 22_0641. In 1983 Maurizio Galimberti began to use only Polaroids, also because he could immediately see the result of the shot without waiting for the development of the film. In 1991 he began to collaborate with Polaroid Italia, of which he became the official testimonial. Since 1995 Galimberti has published the "Polarois Pro Art" and since 1997 his Polaroid mosaics have become real works of art. The technique created by Maurizio Galimberti, influenced by Boccioni and Duchamp, consists in breaking down an image into many polaroids, each of which reproduces a different detail of the same subject. The various polaroids are then placed side by side to recompose the image in a collage. 67434573
