Charles Schneider (1881-1953) - Beautiful Art Deco bowl with geometric decoration, executed in a beautiful cranberry-like colour. The bowl stands on a base of black glass and is marked 'SCHNEIDER'. Dimensions: 19 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm in height. Condition: good/very good. Only the usual sliding scratches at the bottom of the stand. Please take a good look at the photos to avoid any disappointments.
The Frenchman Charles Schneider (1881-1953) became a pioneer with his shapes, colours, expressiveness and techniques after the First World War. The decoration on the designs was still inspired by Art Nouveau, but the style and color heralded a new era: that of Art Deco.
