Roberto Sguanci was born in Florence in 1948 and after attending courses at the School of Art until 1968 he devoted himself to advertising graphics until 1973, the year in which his first solo exhibition was inaugurated. Painter, poet and writer, he met the great master Beppe Serafini in the 1980s, from whom he learned the pictorial technique of engraving on wood pulp, called "Scratched oil", which he then customized. His works are inspired by an expressive restlessness and originate from feelings and philosophies of everyday life, but they express themselves with creative force, infusing reassuring sensations in the form and color of the painting and in the viewer who looks at it. 67475057
