Life is a palette of colors and a bond between the animal world and human beings. A great collector of African art, Corneille plays on the clarity of the signs, and the symbolic significance such as a mask from Niger or a statuette from Côte d'Ivoire. The painter liked to repeat: "I have made a colorful day out of my life"
