The sonnets canzone triumphi of Petrarcha with their comments not without great euigilantia et summa diligentia corrected and in their primary integrity and origin restituti nouiter in littera cursiua most scholarly imprinted.

Venice, Gregorio de Gregori and Bernardino Stagnino [for the Triumphs], May-June 1519. In 4°. 2 parts in one vol. Large initial woodcut at the opening of the Canzoniere and 6 more woodwinds in the Trionfi, light browning, half marbled leather binding.

Book entitled, as an impression on the spine CASTELVETRO - RIME DEL PETRARCA.

But it is a case of "marriage". In fact the cover, mounted upside down among other things, has nothing to do with the content of the book. As well as the title page which bears the brand KEPKIKA in Basel and bears the date of 1582. In reality, after cf on Edit16, and analysis of the colophon of the first volume, the one relating to the sonnets, it is shown to be the work as per the title but marginally UNCOMPLETE. In fact, in addition to being missing the title page of the first volume and the colophon of the second, the following folios are also missing:
For the first volume, relating to the Sonnets: 1,2,7,8,9,11,12,13,14,16,25,26,27,28,29,30,31 and 32
For the second volume, relating to the Triumphs:
3,4,5,6, sheet 10 was placed between 1 and 2 instead of between 9 and 11; the text ends with 183, without an unknown number of pages.
