A 19th century liqueur cellar manufactured during the Dutch Empire period around 1800-1815. The liqueur cellar is made of Oak wood and glued with Mahogany veneer. The top and front are glued with very beautiful wild flamed flower mahogany veneer.
On the inside there are four hand-blown decanters, which are decorated with refined gold-plated details. One has a different decoration and a broken chip on the neck. The neck of another carafe was once broken and glued.
The inside was once reupholstered with the current red fabric.
The liqueur cellar is decorated with brass details in the form of quarter-round moldings, an inlaid shield-shaped entrance, refined handles and four ball feet.
The hinges & locks, i.e. lock, lock eye and hinges are original. The hinges were once re-fixed and a working key is missing.
The raised edge of the top has an old repair to the veneer.
The entire liqueur cellar has a beautiful, warm color and beautiful satin gloss!
