Overall height of 57 cm; base with sides cm.39,5x25,5x22,5 high.
Casting of remarkable quality, characterized by a fine chiselling of the bronze in the armor of the leader and in the helmet, in the horse's vestments and in the bridles, in the mane, in the tail: all elements that denote the attention to detail typical of the nineteenth-century spirit.
In good general condition, considering the age: the sculpture is in patina and with the typical signs of the time; the only defects are the lack of a spur on the leader's left heel and a small tear on the profile of the saddle pad, on the right side.
The sculpture is solid in all its assembled parts; obviously, given its large size and attention to detail, the leader and his arms, the horse and his tail, the harness, are all distinct fusions.
The ebonized wooden base has some spatinations, some signs and a slight lack on the upper moulding.
