Set of 6 large Baccarat crystal water glasses, Pompadour model.
Pompadour is a beautiful model in crystal decorated with a fine frieze in which are carved flowers arranged in clover. It is listed, declined in two forms, in the 1916 catalogue of the Arts of the Table. This glass is characterised by its stem cut in hexagonal way, widening subtly upward and by the delicacy of its line.
Our glasses are not signed Baccarat (prior to 1936 production, date on which the crystal factory began to affix its acid-etched stamp on its productions).
