Framed in an opulent white 10 cm wide museum wooden strip in the format 450 x 600 mm.
Caption:
Italy in its most beautiful colors and in the warm light. Sparkling sea and an endless beach on the Tuscan coast. A mysterious lady duck confidently strides towards the viewer, casually throwing the white bath towel over her shoulders, in an enchanting beach idyll. Her gaze wanders into the distance. The masses of sun loungers that spoiled Viareggio's beach in the 20th century and founded modern mass tourism are not yet available here.
The motif was developed by Ommo Wille in 2020/2021 as a key visual for the PR materials for DUCKOMENTA in the Landesmuseum Hannover. This second version of the "Duck on the Beach of Viareggio" was created by Ommo Wille two years later because he wanted to paint the picture again, which he did very well! This second version is considered to be even more beautiful than the original.
