Rare original round engraving of the mystical marriage of Saint Catherine of Alexandria with the Child Jesus. The saint, kneeling on the right, extends her left towards the Savior standing on a cushion in the arms of Mary, who supports him. St. Joseph, on the right, observes the scene.
Signed along the frame "Lorenzo Pasinelli inventor", on the right "Antonio Maria Lunghis delineavit et Schulpsit" Interesting and rare work by the painter-engraver Lunghi, of the Bolognese school.
Copy in good condition (see photos), on grey-blue laid paper with "crowned coat of arms" watermark, very small margins, just a little stained on the reverse where there is a small collector's stamp (similar to Lugt 528).
