Uniform set printed in contemporary brown half leather binding. Four raised bands to spine, Gilt embossed decorations towards spine ends, gilt lining on top of raised bands. Second panel with Humboldt and series number embossed in gilt, fourth panel with embossed title of specific work with numbering of volume. Red marbled boards and block edges. Frontispiece of Humboldt to first volume. Rubbing and scuffing present on bindings as can be viewed from the images. Small pencil writings present towards pastedowns and endpapers. Signature looking writing with red pencil in every book on either front or back pastedown. Pages bright and solid bindings, very good set overall.
