Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. From a model by the sculptor Tommaso Campajola, an active sculptor from the early 1900s, a sculpture of the "Blindfolded Goddess". Made in bronze with the lost wax system and resting on a veined black marble base, this is more recent than the lost original. Excellent patina and finish, see photos, minimal traces of aging ... the green veining of the bronze is beautiful. On the back the master's signature. See photos for condition and measurements. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box 67565949
