The Citroën Namco Pony was built from 1975 to 1982.
The model was built on the basis of the Citroën 2CV at Namco Motors in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The shortened chassis had a wheelbase of 2400mm and the car weighed only 720kg.

The designer of this vehicle was the Greek Georgius Michael and it was formed from folded and welded sheet steel. The chassis came from Citroën.

As a niche product, the Pony was very successful, so that other manufacturers also launched similar models, such as the Mava Renault. Even exported to the US.
