The binding and all chromolithographs are in a beautiful condition!, Like new after 130 years. no discolorations or rust.

On the back the letters F and F, a flower basket in the middle, and at the bottom the signature of Walter Crane on the left, and on the right the publisher C & C.

Flora's Feast: A Masque of Flowers (1889) in which 39 flowers in the order in which they bloom during the year, printed in full color using the chromolithography, a technique for making multicolored prints. With this flower book, entirely executed in the Arts-and-Crafts style of the international Art Nouveau, Crane inspired several European illustrators, such as Theo van Hoytema and Rie Cramer, to use flowers in illustrations for young people. Crane personified the flowers according to their structure, with petals, stems, etc. becoming part of the figure's costume and expressing their character.
