Terma Stopwatch - Telemetre/Tachimetre - Jumbo cal. Modified Baumgartner BFG 20 in good working and cosmetic condition. Beautiful and really very very rare. In very good condition given its age. Datable between 1930 and 1935. Watch most likely used in the military.

Beautiful cream dial with external telemetric scale and central red helical tachymeter with signs of the time that make it more fascinating. Beautiful original blue hands with central seconds hand.
Swiss Baumgartner 20 modified mechanical movement: the right button is used to stop the watch (pulling it down) and pushing it back up the watch restarts (like the operation of all stopwatches): this function was required to take a measurement or on the rangefinder or speedometer.
Its peculiarity is precisely that the stop occurs with a sliding key and not with a push button. This feature makes it very rare, and probably the first examples of stopwatches.
Despite the age, the movement works properly.

Chromed case and chromed case back in fair condition with signs of the time.
Brown leather strap with buckle closure.
Notable dimensions: 40mm with crown and button, 36.5mm without crown, 42.5mm lug-to-lug

The photos speak for themselves, collector's watch.
