Biography
Robert Houpels was best known as a Fauvist and Impressionist painter with a preference for landscapes, still lifes and city views.
Houpels exhibited in Kortrijk in 1911 at the 'Exposition de tableaux' organized by the Society for Fine Arts.
Robert Houpels later worked in Sint-Pieters-Woluwe, from 1930 in Uccle and from 1935 in Lasne (Belgium).
