Famous work by TISSOT (1728-1797) intended primarily for rural populations by detailing the care to be given to patients without access to a doctor.
In addition to the presentation of the various diseases, He exposes there a large number of remedies, as well as a table of prices of the recommended drugs.
In his book, he recommends the ventilation of homes, food sobriety, moderate heating and physical exercise.
New original edition in single volume grouping together the 30 chapters that are usually found in two volumes. We also find at the end of the volume the famous chapter on charlatans and mages (pp523 to pp543)
