A delightful pair of Art Deco elephant figurines as bookends, each measuring 15.5cm in length and together weighing 1260g, decorated in dark blue, gold and cream enamels. Stamped to the underside with "Made in Czechoslovakia", a mark used from 1918-1938 and applied with raised pink triangle with impressed letter E (used from 1912 to 1952).

Condition: One piece with small foot rim chip, the other with more chips around the foot rim, miniscule firing flaws, otherwise good.
