E.P. Moleveld, an artist with an incredible perfection. Eduard Pieter Moleveld, born in The Hague on 1 May, 1946 as son of the famous foot painter Pieter Moleveld.
A naturalistic fine painter, who analyses his objects in such a way that he is able to get his paintings up to an unprecedented class because of his own manner of colour build up. If you look at his work up close you will see a plethora of colours, that mix together from a distance and gives the copper, tin, glass or any other substance an authenticity of a wonderful quality. An important criteria for Ed Moleveld is that when he paints edible products such as fruit, vegetables or sweets, he himself has to be stimulated to want to eat it. E.P.
