This object is richly decorated with the coat of arms of the Dutch Lion and the inscription V.O.: Vivat Oranje,
There is another reference to the Royal House, a basket containing a tree with the Apples of Orange.

In the bottom of the glass is an open space, in which a coin is placed. This coin is dated 1787 and has the text: Stad Utrecht. On the other side of the coin is the coat of arms of the city of Utrecht. 67281479
