What's a typical day at work look like for you, and what are you currently working on?
As Preloved is such a massive site, with over 200 categories and over 200,000 followers on social media, no day is ever the same!
However, I spent around half of my time putting together posts for social media and writing and researching content for the Preloved blog. The other half could be anything from helping grow our affiliate network to digging through the site to find Preloved gems, chatting with our amazing community of content creators or coming up with new ways to make the Preloved experience even better!
Right now, I'm working on pulling together everything for Preloved's 20th Birthday!
What are your biggest challenges in the job?
Finding time to fit it all in! There are always new things to work on to add new things to the Preloved community, but there's only so many hours in the day to make them happen.
What’s your favourite Preloved blog?
There are so many! I really enjoyed writing our weddings on a budget blog as I really enjoyed learning all the handy hints and tips while researching for it!
I am a little obsessed with the Preloved pupdates, as I'm a sucker for a rescue success story - with two of my own!
What’s the most memorable Preloved listing you’ve come across?
I spend a lot of the time scrolling through the site finding the coolest and best adverts on Preloved so there's been so many!
However, there was an incredible nautical lamp which is made from parts salvaged from an 1898 ship which sank in 1916 which I just think is so cool!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Travelling! I am addicted to city breaks and exploring new places. I've just come back from a trip to Lisbon, but in the last year have been to Barcelona, Dublin and Cologne for the German Markets.
