Or alternatively you can catch up on Preloved’s Google + page or watch our key clips below!

Question 1: I have a 6 year old rescued Toy Poodle that won’t eat dog food (wet or dry). He will only eat fish and cat food. Is there any supplements I can give him?

Question 2: I have a 5 1/2 Tibetan Mastiff, along with her mum and another. Her name is Yazmin, she was spayed at just over a year old and has recently started to leak urine whilst sleeping. I have had her on Homeopathic “Leak no More” drops, but is there any more I can do to help?

Question 3: My Springer Spaniel loves water, but also suffers with ear infections. I don’t want to stop my dog from swimming but also want to take necessary precautions to reduce the chance of her getting an ear infection. What can I do?

Question 4: My dog has a flea infestation, what should I do?

Question 5: I have 1 year old female long legged Staffordshire terrier. She is quite a “stressy” dog who on occasion has acted quite odd in the middle of the night – walking in circles and wandering aimlessly. She had a fit 3 weeks ago lasting 10 minutes. Any insight into what might be wrong?

Question 6: My dog is constantly scratching, we thought it was because of pollen etc., but antihistamines don’t work and he hasn’t got fleas. Could it be a skin allergy?

Question 7: My dog is scared of thunder and fireworks and begins to visibly shake and tries to hide under things. What is the best way to keep him calm and make him feel safe?

Question 8: I purchased a fantastic Bordeaux from Preloved and he’s incredible. He’s now 2.5 years old and is fit and strong but has recently become incontinent of urine, dribbling when quiet. Is it a common problem and what might be done to help?

Question 9: My Border Collie Jesse is 5 years old. She had 8 pups last year and has never lost weight since. She drinks incessantly and is hungry all the time but is very active. What could I do to help her lose weight? (Alan also contacted us previously with concerns that he could not afford a vet as he is on benefits).

Question 10: How can I stop my two dogs from barking?

Question 11: My dog Molly, who is 5 years old, has some discharge coming from her eyes. She keeps licking her leg and rubbing her eyes. Any advice as to what this could be?

If you are ever concerned about your dog’s health, of course the best thing for you to do is speak to your vet. However, we hope you find the above answers useful! Keep an eye out onFacebook, Twitter and Google + for future Vet Q&A Sessions.
