Advert Description

Are you looking for a border collie or collie cross? Do you have a collie you can no longer care for?
We may be able to help. We always have between 25 and 30 collies and collie crosses looking for new homes. We offer full help and support throughout the rehoming process and for the entire lifetime of the dog.
If you need help with a collie do contact us, whilst we usually have to run a waiting list for dogs coming into our centre we will always try to help as soon as we can or may be able to offer advice to help with the situation. The I Need To Rehome section of our website will assist, along with an initial form to complete
We offer collies needing our help a permanent home, until such time as they find a new owner. Dogs are only euthanised where veterinary advice suggests a quality of life cannot be
maintained or where there are serious aggressive issues which cannot be addressed, despite our best efforts.
Our rehoming process is carried out at our rescue centre and full details plus our application form can be found on our website.
Full details of the dogs we have for rehoming can always be found on our website, which is always up to date.

Preloved Safety Advice:

  • Important: Before responding to any pet ad, be sure to read our Pet Buying Checklist and download your copy for free.
  • Research: Always learn everything you can about a species before contacting a seller. This will give you a better idea of what to expect when you go to visit a seller, what questions to ask, and what else you might need to buy.
  • Payments: Always use a safe payment method that offers you some protection, such as PayPal or Credit Card.
  • Reporting Concerns: If you've seen an ad on Preloved the breaches our welfare listing guidelines, you can click on 'Report Advert' just below the ad and we'll investigate your concerns.
  • Photos: Photos on ads can be misleading. Sellers may temporarily group animals in confined spaces, purely to get a photo. These images don't represent an animal's natural habitat. Always visit the pet in their current home so you can see their housing for yourself.
  • The Pet Advertising Advisory Group (PAAG) promotes responsible pet advertising to help protect animal welfare. That’s why Preloved works to ensure our adverts meet PAAG’s Advertising Standards. If you spot an advert that does not meet these standards, please report the advert to us so that we can take action.
