This is because he was offered a contract with a gallery in that period. Yet he has broken this contract fairly quickly, this because he got a scholarship in 1965 through Cees Nooteboom, and he left to New York. In New York he met well-known artists: Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Since 1999 he lives in Paris again.Mark Brusse is represented in the collections of the Museum van Bommel van Dam in Venlo and CODA museum in Apeldoorn. In addition, his work is included in the corporate collections of, among others, Fontijs art collection Eindhoven and art collection KPN the Hague. 22280341
