Proven Breeding Pair of Rhino Iguanas (Cyclura Cornuta)
Jub Jub is male and is 10 years old.
Ember is female and is 9 years old.
This is an extremely reluctant sale as we have had both since they were 18 months old and they have been kept purely as pets. They free roam our house, have exclusive use of 'lizard mountain' in front of our French doors, love spending time in the garden and even put themselves to bed each night in a 4 metre heated tunnel behind our sofa.
We have probably taken more photos of the lizards than our own daughter!
They have only the best equipment and diet and as a result have produced fully fertile batches of between 21-24 eggs for the past 4 years.
Unfortunately, maturity has caught up with our male and he no longer tolerates my partner (male), while being perfectly fine with myself (female) and 11 year old daughter.
This isn't something that has happened overnight, but has reached a point where it's clear the situation isn't going to improve.
We have come to accept that they are no longer 'pets' and more a hobby/business opportunity for someone with the space to accommodate them.
