Baby Hermann tortoise
Now Available for sale Tortoise, incubated at 30 - 32 degrees so from experience they will be females, but I cant garuntee this. Hand reared for first few weeks and Fed only on a weed / flower only diet. all my babies tortoise will be sold complete with their form-fed1012-wd certificates and a personal compiled comprehensive caresheet. My tortoises are extremely well looked after and line to meet buyer to express this- please don't ask me to post a toylrtoise!!!!! I try every possibility to be with the adults when they lay their eggs, (from years of experience i know the signs when this is to happen within hours) i incubate the eggs and hand rear the babies myself, they are handled as soon from when they hatch, which i can assure they have had an excellent first couple of years and will leave my enclosure infirst class condition. With the right care and set up, which really does not have to be too expensive, they should out live you!!! You will need an open top tortoise table or indoor rabbit cage (the plastic bottom type), substrate which is 50/50 playsand and topsoil, feed a weed /wild flower diet, nutrobal calcium supplement, a heat/uv combined lamp (with lamp stand) and thats it! You do not need bark chip, heat mats, uv tubes, vivariums or uv tube lights and you definately do not need pretty coloured pellet food, and when its warm enough outside a secure run from other animals or birds, no uv lights are needed as the sun will give them what they need. Please try to ignore the advice from comercial pet shops as they are just dealers trying to make as much money as they can as fast as they can whilst ensuring a life of misery for the tortoise.
