Advert Description

We rescue and take in an array of animals and provide them an enriching and loving home with us, no matter their temperament, health issues, age, or reason for rehoming.

As a family combined we have 20+ years experience with a variety of species, including reptiles, birds, fish, rodents, exotics and many more, including with issues mentioned above. We also rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife.

We go above and beyond for every animal in our care, we have dedicated reptile and fish rooms where every animal and fish are kept in above standard sized enclosures and tanks, walk in enclosures for our large reptiles, a 10m L x 10m W x 2M D pond for large cold water fish and smaller ponds, walk in rabbit and Guinea pig enclosures, large planted aviaries for all outdoor birds in our care, and rooms for our indoor birds to free fly safely inside for the majority of the day. Not a single animal in our care lives in the minimum size required enclosure, and we do our very best to keep our enclosures as natural as we can and provide as much enrichment as possible.

We do not breed from, sell on, or switch any animals in our care. Any animal that can be desexed will be, and every single animal we take in will stay with us for the duration of their lives. They receive regular vet checks and care. We don’t take on anything we don’t have experience with. If we don’t have available space we have a list of contacts we’ve put together who we’ve thoroughly vetted on their experience, have vet reference checked and home checked who may be able to help.

We are not a charity and do everything from our own pockets. We are happy to stay in touch with you if you wish, but we cannot offer tours of our facilities due to past break ins and threats in order to protect our property and animals. We hope you understand!

If you think we can help you please do not hesitate to contact us. Please also read our other adverts listed.

Preloved Safety Advice:

  • Important: Before responding to any pet ad, be sure to read our Pet Buying Checklist and download your copy for free.
  • Photos: Photos on ads can be misleading. Sellers may temporarily group animals in confined spaces, purely to get a photo. These images don't represent an animal's natural habitat. Always visit the pet in their current home so you can see their housing for yourself.
  • Research: Always learn everything you can about a species before contacting a seller. This will give you a better idea of what to expect when you go to visit a seller, what questions to ask, and what else you might need to buy.
  • Payments: Always use a safe payment method that offers you some protection, such as PayPal or Credit Card.
  • Reporting Concerns: If you've seen an ad on Preloved the breaches our welfare listing guidelines, you can click on 'Report Advert' just below the ad and we'll investigate your concerns.
