Freshly metamorphosed Lake Urmia Newts also known as yellow spotted newts or Neurergus crocatus. These fantastic totally aquatic newts are eating blood worm and pellets. They need clean well aerated water as they come from mountain streams. The Internet suggests that they have to spend time on land but we have bred them without this and feed the adults just on cichlid pellets and the occasional worm.
