Here is a stunning Poecilotheria Regalis,purchased January 2022 at 5-6cm. Molts suggest this is a female and the colouration and marking also.This has no resemblance to a male,and the molt clearly shows the epigastric furrow. She is now at least 5" and will continue to grow to a considerable size and live for several years. The home she is living in,is a 72l plastic tub,with a 17x11 heat matt on the back and is controlled with an exo terra thermometer.Also an exo terra hydrometer monitors the humidity. Real Pathos plants,100% natural water retaining substrate,moss,large cork tube "living area" real wooden branches,bark and plastic plants is the living area.So a very large and natural setup.plenty of hiding areas,so the tarantula is secure.Also a habistat classic matt stat to control the heat matt. The tarantula has calmed down as she has grown older and has been handled twice,but this isn't advised.She is very defensive,but this is understandable be a Poecilotheria genus.She is NOT aggressive in any way,so deserves much respect.She has been fed red runners when she was younger and now eats Dubia Roaches very well and molts well too no issues.She is still young and is ideal for breeding and will live many years. A stunning Tarantula!! I have a detailed log book,of all her feeding and molts,home upgrades,from when she was 5-6cm in size and she has had no issues and has been looked after very well.
