Here we have a Poecilotheria Striata,unsexed at the moment,because of young age,but is starting to display some lovely colours and markings,so could be a female. This is a year old,purchased march 2023 at 7/8cm and is now a good 3.5 inches approx.Eats very well and molts without issues.Stiil quite jumpy,but will calm down with age.Lives in a 72l plastic enclosure,with a Pulse Proportional Thermostat,exo terra hydrometer and Thermometer,to measure Humidity and temperature,both of which are controlled extremely well.The pulse proportional thermostat keep temperature stable at all times,without it rising and falling. A 17x11 heat matt on the back of the enclosure and inside a big cork tube inside which she lives in,along with real plants,plastic also,real bark,wood ect for climbing "decoration" water dish and 100%natural substrate with water retention qualities to keep Humidity up.A very natural environment,with going Bio. She is now eating Dubia Cock Roaches,red runners when younger,which she takes very well and she molts very well,with no issues to date. A gorgeous Tarantula, and will continue to grow and display her stunning colours and markings. Will bite if PROVOKED,so be careful as this won't be pleasant,but she is NOT aggressive and will on threat pose if pushed around and disturb all the time-these are very secretive shy Tarantulas. Keep an eyes on the plants and water when the soil begins to dry,its planted in a 100%non toxic,peat free,100%natural compost and the watering will help to keep the humidity up.Very easy tarantula to keep....
