Here we have an UNSEXED Poecilotheria Metallica,which was purchased from a professional supplier,at the beginning of 2023. So it's just over a year old and was purchased at 3cm and is now 2.5 inches in size,maybe just over.Has a very healthy appetite and started off eating runners/crickets/ ect and is now eating Dubia roaches.Molts and eats very well,Is growing well and have no issues at all. Enclosure is 14 inches high,14.5 inches wide and the front to back is 10.5 inches.It has an Exo terra hydrometer and thermometer to monitor the temp/humidity and is controlled very well.It uses a Habistat pulse proportional thermostat,which heats the heat matt and the temperature is very stable,i use these all the time,as they are high quality products.An upgrade will be due soon-i have an upgraded Enclosure all ready,with heat mat,cork bark ect ect and real plants. I have an extensive log book,of date purchased untill now,recording all feeds,molts and other info,which is key to show how the tarantula is growing and feeding ect.
She feeds on Home bred Dubia Roaches,which are fed quality and natural products,which is a MUST for a healthy tarantula. This is a stunning Poecilotheria,at a very good price.Everything is included,just plug equipment in and your ready to go. Experience is desirable for keeping these Tarantulas,as a bite will cause problems and is really not nice ! They are NOT aggressive Tarantulas and prefer to be left alone,but if provoked they will defend themselves and this is how people get bitten.....
