Advert Description
This is Molly, the super soppy, cuddly and the most gentle parrot you could wish for (she has NEVER bitten). Unlike most Cockatoos she is very quiet and has started to speak (although not the best). She needs lots of time out her cage and things to keep her occupied. This is a very sad and difficult sale. My husband brought her with the promise of being her primary carer as he works from home, and understanding the attention these highly intelligent parrots need she was perfect. Unfortunately she has decided to bond to everyone else in our family (the ones who are not home most the time) and has decided she is petrified of my husband. She will not let him anywhere near her, so as you can imagine letting her out then trying to get her back is near on impossible!!! this really is not fair on her as her happy place is flying round the house or playing on her cage.
Apart from her hatred of my husband she has to be the most perfect little girl, she LOVES children, is fine with my birds and dog. She will fly to you when called and is understanding the word 'NO' when trying to chew things she shouldn't. Myself and the children are absolutely gutted but is not fair for her to be stuck in her cage. She's recently had a full health check and bloods, comes with her certificate too.
It goes without saying that we will be very fussy in deciding who she lives with and experience with parrots is ESSENTIAL!! so please understand that we will probably be asking her future parent lots of questions.
NO Breeders and NO silly offers please, this is hard enough.
