Maisie - 16.1hh - 14 year old chestnut mare I am her second owner - previous owner raised her from previous brood mare.
Maisie is a complete delight to own. She is not your 'normal' thoroughbred type horse! She can be forward going but never dangerous. She wouldn't suit novice or nervous riders.
She is the most easy going mare you could ask for. She lives out 24/7 (she loves living out) She doesn't drop weight in the winter. Bare foot all year round & has strong sturdy feet. This horse has never reared, bucked, bolted, shyed or been untrustworthy in anyway. She honestly is the most loyal mare. She has been around children, dogs & others horses when with me & she is very safe around all! Maisie has been to multiple beach rides, long hacks, hunted for 2 seasons, X country courses.
She loves hacking, she goes out alone (and is safe as anything!!) or she will go in any group. She is not mareish & will lead a ride or go right at the back to shut all gates. She is very respectful & honest.
Fully vaccinated, wormed & passport. Great to shoe, load, travel, clip.
I unfortunately just don't have the time for her due to a full time job & being a single parent.
Maisie would be most suited to a mother & daughter share or a happy hacking home.
Full tack & rugs available upon negotiation. Transport is available too.
