Advert Description

Juvenile Sechelleptus seychellarum, cb23, about 6-8cm. Endangered in the wild, hence not common in the hobby, and good to breed in captivity rather than collect from the wild.

Easy to keep, I use oak and beech humus, leaf litter, soft rotten wood and plenty of last years leaves. All frozen for 2-4 weeks before warming up and adding to substrate - approximately 30cm deep. They also get butternut squash, courgette, mango or apple 3 times a week, plus cuttlebone ad lib. Other than they simply need a steady temperature of 24°C and high humidity (90% +) without soaking the substrate; damp but not wet to the touch.

N.B. 'Sex' is a required field but there was no option for both! Too young to accurately sex at this time.
