The Irish Wolfhound Rescue Trust has been established for over 50 years and is here to help people needing to re-home their wolfhound. We home visit and thoroughly vet all prospective new owners. New owners adopt hounds through the trust which means we maintain ongoing contact with that hound for its lifetime. Enquiries need to be made via the website irishwolfhoundrescue . co. uk and speak to the Secretary. We assess every dog coming into the Trust while it is with its owners to ensure that we choose the new home based on understanding the dogs needs and character traits. Our main concern is to ensure that any Wolfhound facing a change of circumstances can be placed in a loving forever home, and for an owner to be re-assured that their hound will be safely cared for. It is important to research thoroughly before making a decision that will affect your life for years to come before purchasing an Irish Wolfhound puppy.
