Our teeny tiny 'Dru' (Carmelite Drusilla) is a 12 month old Coloured Ryeland ewe who is looking for pastures new.
Dru was the littlest of a set of twins born to one of our ewes who is herself on the small side, and although she has always been fit and healthy she has simply not grown to the normal size expected for her breed. Due to her diminutive stature she is absolutely NOT suitable for breeding, but would make a wonderful pet or very pretty lawnmower. She has no known health issues, and has been regularly worm-counted/treated. She is also on the Heptavac P Plus programme.
Dru is a very sweet and friendly girl, who is bucket-trained (even without the need for a bucket). This makes getting good pictures of her very difficult as she tends to trot round the field after you in the hope of snacks, and so most photos end up out of focus because her nose is usually pressed against the camera.
An experienced home which already has other sheep, a CPH number, and registered with a suitable vet are all essential. Please be aware that any prospective new owners will be carefully vetted!
The price has been set to deter unsuitable interest, but this is negotiable and will depend on the quality and security of the potential new home.
We are based in Hampshire, GU33 postcode. Could possibly deliver within a 50 mile radius by prior arrangement and for cost of fuel. Please feel free to ask if you would like further information.
