Advert Description

Sadly, I need to re-home my parrotlets.

They’re the cutest, funniest little characters, they’re roughly 18m old & brothers & a bit smaller than budgies.

They get on great, they have the odd argument but it’s over in seconds. But that’s birds for you!

They’re well socialised as been brought up with various birds and dogs!!

They spend anlot of time out of their cage, then when the lights are turned down, they take themselves off to bed! They need at least a couple of hours out.

I’m so sad to have to let them go but I think it’s in their best interest. Reggie, the green one, has always had an obsession with one of my budgies & it’s never been an issue up until recently. He’s completely obsessed now & will not leave the budgie alone. This particular budgie already has a mate who he’s bonded to so he’s not interested!

So basically, when they’re in their cage, they preen, feed & love each other. Now the second I let them out, he’s started bullying the budgies mate & his own brother! So poor Ronnie sits by himself! I’ve had to give them separate out of cage time & they look so bored sat there whilst my other million birds have fun!

They’ll step up on to a perch, eat millet from you but they’re not hand tame enough yet to come & sit with you. They’re still young tho so this can easily be done as they’re such an intelligent species!

They MUST go to a good home. They’re my babies & deserve the best!

They eat the cockatiel & lovebird mix from Pets at Home along with a variety of fruit & vegetables etc.

One last thing, Reggie (see pic 6) has an overgrown beak which I have to occasionally trim. He’s had a check from a vet who says it’s just his diet. I’m sure you can regulate what he eats more than I’m able to.

I hope I’ve covered most things but if you have any questions please let me know.

If you’ve read this far, thank you haha! Price for both including cage & a few toys etc.
