Advert Description

I am selling my male collared lizard, Garchomp (or Chompy). I will be moving this year and am reluctantly needing to rehome him due to lack of space where I will be moving to.

I have had him since early 2022 and was told he was about a year old, so he is roughly 3 years old.

He is very fun to watch and feed, and is mostly on mealworms at the moment but has also eaten locusts. I do not handle him, mostly due to the fact that they are known for being so fast they can run on their hind legs, and I am afraid of not being able to catch him if he jumped away! However, he has never been aggressive towards me when I go to feed him, and is a very good eater. He takes his bugs from tweezers straight away.

He also comes to greet me at the glass, and is usually out on his rock basking. He can be a greeny/blue, particularly after eating. Other times his colours are more muted and he is more of a grey. He has had no issues with shedding, and I usually help him out by misting his viv. I feed him roughly every other day.

He comes with his set up, which is a 5 foot viv kitted out in the appropriate UVB light as well as a basking spot with a cage around the lamp, which is controlled with a dimmer thermostat. I keep the lights on a timer, so he gets the temperature change at night.

I would love for him to go to a great home who has done their research on collared lizards, because they are not as common here and it can be difficult to find information on how to keep them.

I am asking for £150 and that includes him and his complete set up.
