Advert Description
2 happy and healthy gargoyle geckos for sale. Approx 2 years old. Unfortnately, I need to downsize. 1 male and 1 female.
The vivarium is an old one but great to start with.
Gargoyle geckos can be fed a wide variety of fruit and insects once a week. Also, gecko flavoured formula mixed with water or fruit flavoured baby food 2/3 times a week. They are an easy care gecko. Great for beginners. They will need heat and misting and love to climb.
A vivarium and/or incubator is also available if required.
In the wild, Gargoyle geckos live in scrubby, forested areas, climbing and jumping between trees and shrubs. These geckos are famous for their ability to stick to almost any surface. The bottoms of their feet are covered in thousands of setae, which look like tiny hairs. The ends of the setae are further divided into spatulae, which look like spatulas. Molecules in the spatulae temporarily stick to molecules in tree bark, walls, glass, or other surfaces to help geckos climb.
Despite their fearsome appearance and name, they are docile geckos and make great pets especially when they are handled gently and well taken care of.
Both of these have been handled regularly.
