Pupdate: Thorn

Thorn is around 9 years old and he’s an American Akita. He is so relaxed, laid back and is my very own giant teddy bear! He absolutely loves human company and being around people; he’s a very sociable dog. My favourite part about giving him a forever home was learning all about his breed, as it’s one I’ve never come across before. I am so happy that Thorn will never, ever have the trauma of having to go into a rehoming centre again, and that I could welcome him into my home as part of the family.

If I could give anyone out there thinking of rehoming an animal any advice, it would be to be patient. Trust and obedience will come naturally as the animal gets to know you and the house rules.
