Calling all Prelovers! We need your help to pick a winner from our incredible shortlist of entries from the UK's first ever interschool's Upcycling Competition! But first...about the incredible Project and Competition!

Who are Project UP?

Preloved Charity Member, Project UP, works with young unemployed people to teach them new skills and help them create a portfolio of work.

The aim behind the project is not only to provide help for those in need of CV-enhancing qualifications and confidences but to make furniture that can be donated to local families most in need.

The Great Big Upcycled Design Competition...

In 2015, the Project UP team came up with an idea - to encourage young people to think differently about waste through an upcycling competition!

So, in September of the same year (they're a quick bunch), the project launched the Great Big Upcycled Design Competition - The UK's first interschool's upcycling competition! Spread across a number of schools in Cheshire East, Year 7 students were tasked with making the most creative and inventive items they could from 'trash'!

And what a brilliant job they all did! A HUGE congratulations must go to ALL of incredible entrants!
