Every year, more and more waste is produced, causing landfill sites become drastically more inundated with rubbish. Here at Preloved we have recognised that this issue is a huge part of our lives, and therefore do all we can to encourage recycling, upcycling, restoring and freeloving. We are very proud to announce that our efforts have landed us a place in Greenmatch’s ‘top 50 recycling sites’!

Preloved has been reducing the number of items that go to Landfill since its creation in 1999. As well as encouraging our members to advertise all of their unwanted items on our site, or list them for free on our freeloved page, we try to promote our strong environmental ethos on our blog pages, where you can find information about a whole range of environmentally friendly topics. From posts about recycling tips, to articles about campaigns by WRAP, we do our best to try and promote the reuse of unwanted items in good condition, and the responsible recycling of those that aren’t.
