Advert Description
Heart breaking sale as he is the most wonderful family member. Due to a change in health circumstances my mum is having to find new homes for her dogs.
He does well with other dogs as he spends time with my dog often and lives with other dogs; he walks well on the leash - doesn’t pull but can be a little skittish. Unfortunately my mum hasn’t been able to do much walking or off lead training with him due to deterioration in her health, I have been helping where possible. He’s a bundle of love and joy, enjoys being cuddled and loves tummy tickles and just thrives from loving and being loved. He doesn’t do well in a crate. He hasn’t been left for long periods until recently due to hospital visits but usually someone has generally always been home with him.
He is used to living with dogs; he lives with other dogs; his dad and until recently his sister and spends time with his mum regularly. He can be a bit wary with dogs on walks but this should improve with more socialisation. He is used to children as he socialises with my children every weekday.
He hasn’t been socialised with cats but with proper introduction/supervision he may be able to live with cats.
Does his business outside, however may have an accident inside when the weather is extreme. He tells you if the water bowl needs a refill and knows a few ticks like speak, roll, stand, sit, also thinks he’s a circus dog as likes to jump on my back/shoulders when encouraged to.
Happy to answer questions, he does have a name but I will not be sharing that info publicly.
His fur is beautifully soft and easy to maintain he will be three in June. I’d like for him and his dad to go together but understand this isn’t always possible.
Mum is Whippet x Border Collie x Staffy Dad is ShihTzu
Please keep in mind that he has never been away from his pack and will need time, patience and understanding when settling into his new home.
