I am looking for a fantastic home with an experienced cat owner who wants to put time and attention in to this gorgeous pure bred, male Ragdoll. This is a very special cat who comes with BEHAVIOURAL ISSUES so please be aware of these when considering he may be the right cat for you.
He is five years old and in good health. Microchipped but not vaccinated at the moment- he has been previously, but he doesn’t wander about and the boosters have lapsed. He is friendly, excellent with humans, children and all animals. He loves attention and a warm lap to sleep in. He has ONE behaviour issue which has led to the need to re home him: despite being neutered, he scent marks,/sprays around the home. It began a couple of years ago and I have worked with a behaviourist and have been unable to resolve it. I was advised it may be due to the mix of animals in the home- even though he appears to get on with them all- r something else inside the home that we cannot get to the bottom of. Keeping him outside is not the right thing to do for him, so I want to find him a special home who will care for him and work on this issue so he can have a long happy life and be the fabulous cat he is! It is possible he won’t continue that behaviour in a new home, but of course he might. Is doesn’t smell strongly as he is neutered, and he is litter trained and uses the litter tray properly for toileting. At the moment, he sprays on hard, vertical surfaces such as tiles on the wall or a cardboard box left on the side etc. If you are at all interested in helping get this gorgeous boy through this problem and give him the future that he deserves then please get in touch and I have lots more details for you. I assure you, aside from his spraying, he is the friendliest, most beautiful cat in the world.
