Advert Description
This is Dexter.
He was born on the 16th November 2023 and was brought from a private seller, mum was seen. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is wormed and flea treated.
He is 5 months old. He can’t be viewed with mum as he doesn’t live with her.
My mum is 73 and brought Dexter as her companion. She had him for 2 weeks and became ill so he came to stay with us for 2 months while she was in hospital. He has spent most of his time in a family home with older and younger children. He is fantastic with children; especially our 1 year old.
Given my mums decline in health she has decided she cannot meet his needs so we are looking for a forever home. He is perfectly suited for a very active person of a busy family. He loves puzzles, playing and walks.
Whilst he was with us we crate trained him for night times. He comes with his crate, bedding and toys. He has three meals a day of butchers wet food mixed with sainsburys complete puppy biscuits.
He responds to his name, comes when called and sits on command. He is still a cheeky pup and will need ongoing training.
He goes to the toilet in the garden and rarely has accidents indoors.
Dexter is a bouncy pup who does like to chew things so will need plenty to occupy him.
He walks beautifully on and off the lead and travels well in cars. We have taken him on long days out and he will come to the car, off the lead, and get in.
We would love to keep him ourselves but we don’t have the time he needs due to work commitments.
He is living with my mum in Crawley West Sussex and we live near Chichester but we would prefer you meet him at our house near Chichester so you can see him interacting with people and children.
He is also a very loyal and protective dog. If my one year old cries he rushes over to check on him. He cuddles my one year old and they lie on the floor together.
