Advert Description
Duke is a very affectionate, very loving and loyal lurcher. Like most. After a relationship break down which involved a house move and leaving another dog behind he has developed separation anxiety. When he is at home he is so laidback he is mostly sleeping. But when his owner has to go to work he suffers so badly he drools/pants/and has even become destructive. He can’t always go to work so is left in the truck which used to be one of his happy places but now he is unhappy and can’t be left in there. He needs a stable home with company all day. And in time I honestly believe he will go back to his old relaxed ways but unfortunately I don’t think his current environment is ever going to get him there. Work places change weekly. He gets on well with other dogs but being large he can be a bit much for much smaller dogs. Another home with lurchers would be amazing for him. He works and loves that so perhaps a working home. It’s with a very heavy heart that this decision was made so the best home only. Saying that, we hope to find him a home asap so that he can go back to his old self. Castrated. No health issues.
